From April 28 to May 16, the festival ]INTERSTICE[ invites me for the third time in Caen, to celebrate the 10 years of the festival with CLOCHE. It will sound alone in the vast nave of the Church of Saint Nicolas. Certainly impressive.
As every year, the festival consists of concerts, performances, exhibitions, meetings and conferences located in several places in the city. You can find the work of Martin Messier, Heewon Lee, Julien Poidevin, Aernoudt Jacobs, Cécile Beau & Nicolas Montgermont, Nicolas Tourte, Frank Vigroux, Figure 8, Nicolas Talbot, TM Project, Herman Kogen, Wolf & Owl Blaster Blaster, Patcho, Solo and Anne Nicolas Maigret.

From July 9 to August 28, 2013 : CLOCHE in summer festival at Toulouse - France
Dans le cadre de l'exposition OMNI (Objets Musicaux Non Identifiés), le festival Toulouse d'Eté invite CLOCHE et sa nouvelle cloche à sonner tout l'été en la Chapelle des Carmélites à Toulouse.

Excentrique, festival de la région Centre, est un projet pluridisciplinaire construit en partenariat avec des partenaires très différents de la Région Centre : communauté de communes, hôpital, structure culturelle, monument historique … A chacune de ses étapes, la programmation propose, dans tous types d’espaces (espaces naturels, domiciles, espace public, lieux détournés…), une grande diversité d’œuvres : projets d’implication menés par des artistes avec les habitants, projets artistiques crées dans le lieu de leur représentation ou encore proposés dans des lieux atypiques (écoles, église, place de village…).
La programmation réunit plus d’une cinquantaine de propositions artistiques très éclectiques dans leur forme et dans leurs modalités de production :
• des commandes de projets in situ
• des démarches participatives impliquant fortement artistes et habitants
• des œuvres d’artistes de toutes origines : régionales, nationales ou internationales, qui mêlent le langage des formes populaires à celui des écritures contemporaines.

CLOCHE, projet lauréat Toulous'Up 2012
Jeudi 20 décembre 2012 : remise officielle des bourses Toulous'Up, label de la Ville de Toulouse, par Mme Vincentella de Comarmond - adjointe au Maire en charge de la culture, à l'Hôtel de Ville de Toulouse, Salle des Illustres.
Le projet CLOCHE (commencé en résidence à la Maison Salvan - Ville de Labège au printemps 2012) fait parti des 13 projets lauréats. Le soutien de la bourse Toulous'Up va permettre de finaliser le projet, notamment en dessinant et en coulant une cloche spécifique ... à suivre.
Toulous'Up est un label, accompagné d'une bourse, lancé en 2009 par la mairie de Toulouse. Objectif ? Accompagner les projets les plus audacieux et innovants, portés par des artistes et des acteurs culturels et favoriser la création. Toulous'Up distingue chaque année une quinzaine de projets dans différents domaines de la création.
L'appel à projets 2012 était lancé jusqu'au 12 octobre. 13 projets ont été retenus (musique, arts visuels, arts de la rue et du cirque, danse, arts plastiques et théâtre). Une enveloppe de 99 000 euros est destinée à la mise en œuvre de ces projets artistiques.

"C’est en venant à l’heure dite que vous pourrez tout voir : “Les souliers” d’Arno Fabre et “Le Petit Cirque” de Laurent Bigot, pour une après-midi / soirée autour du son produit par la manipulation d’objets, mécanique ou manuelle !
Commençons par “Le Petit Cirque” de Laurent Bigot : ce passionné de musique improvisée et d’expérimentations sonores a construit une petite piste de cirque hors du commun où chaque action est guidée par le son. À partir de bouts de ficelles, de ressorts, de jouets de quincaille et autres gadgets démodés, il met en piste des numéros fragiles pour lilliputiens qui déclenchent vibrations et mélodies étonnantes. De mini voltiges en micro pirouettes, vos yeux et vos oreilles en seront tout… ébouriffés !
Poursuivons avec l’installation sonore d’Arno Fabre : une armée de souliers composée de 30 paires de chaussures. Bottines, escarpins, chaussures d’enfants, etc. frappent, frottent le sol, s’emballent ou ralentissent pour créer rythmes et contretemps. Fermez les yeux et distinguez marches joyeuses ou guerrières ; ouvrez les yeux et observez toutes ces chaussures aux tempéraments multiples (certaines sont provocantes, timides, séduisantes) ; ces orphelines de pieds semblent convoquer les fantômes de ceux qui les ont habitées, choyées ou abîmées… Fascinant." From September 15 to October 20 : LES SOULIERS dance for L'Echangeur CDC Picardy
Dans le cadre du festival C'est comme ça !, Les Souliers sont invités par l'Echangeur - CDC Picardie, au Silo à Château-Thierry, du 15 septembre au 20 octobre.
L'Echangeur soutient, co-produit et promeut, par le biais de résidences, des artistes dont les oeuvres explorent des formes contemporaines de la danse aux "autres scènes" : théâtre d'objets, musique plasticienne, marionnettes...

From 19 July to 19 October 2014: CLOCHE ringing in Camargue
CLOCHE will spend three months under the sun and mosquitoes of Camargue - France.
Invited by the General Council of Bouches-du-Rhône in part of the exhibition LE DOMAINE DES MURMURES #1, CLOCHE will ring at the Chateau d'Avignon (Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer - France) from July 19 to October 19.
It is the first time it be exposed to the outside, we wish him good luck. It will be in the company of works by Pierre Berthet, Pierre-Laurent Cassière, Marie Chéné and Pascal Messaoudi, Julien Clauss, Valere Costes, Emma Dusong Emmanuel Lagarrigue Franck Lesbros Dominique Petitgand and Carole Rieussec.

11 > 22 March 2015 : CLOCHE rings its premiere in England with the AUDIOGRAFT festival in Oxford
From 11 to 22 March, SARU - Sonic Art Research Unit and Oxford Contemporary Music invite CLOCHE in Oxford, at the AUDIOGRAFT festival. It will be exhibited at The Warehouse - OVADA, in company of works by Mario De Vega, Minoru Sato and Janek Schaefer (see full program below for exhibitions and concerts).
This is my first exhibition in England and I am delighted that it is with Cloche and in Oxford. Indeed, Cloche was born when I met the English artist Ray Lee in 2008 in Amsterdam, where we had an exhibition at the Gaudeamus Muziekweek. Before returning to his home in Oxford, he told me he was also a bell ringer and he explained me the English bells ringing : the change ringing. I found it fascinating and then I started dreaming my bell...
