Strangely, every time I'm in Barcelona, I'm transported in the atmosphere of an American series, in New York. The architecture, the vehicles, the language or the people cannot be responsible for this enchantment. Nothing could justify my fascination, when suddenly the song of a siren invades the facades. The charm is there. Is it the siren of a police car, a fire engine or ambulances, I do not know, but it's that one we always hear in all American soaps.
Are the sirens of New York and Barcelona be related?
Le Chant des Sirènes is tuned to the manic pulse of the city. From the confrontation of Barcelona, Graz and Toulouse sirens, comes the sonorous landscape of a hypothetical cosmopolitan city, in witch the Spanish ambulances ring like an American ones...

The editing of the film was made with the first intention of a sonorous creation. A "blind" work at first, to discover, by surprise, the images in a second time. Images and sounds of the shooting remain synchronized. So cuttings, sequences, loops, fade in, fade out or superimposing of the audio editing meet themselves actually on the image track.
